01Customer Process Replication / Development of New Synthetic Routes

At AGC, we begin with an in-depth literature review—collecting and analyzing a wide range of existing knowledge and prior technologies to build a strong foundation for development. Furthermore, leveraging our extensive expertise in fine organic synthesis, we propose highly efficient synthetic routes. We have particular expertise in fluorine and halogen chemistry, with the capability to support a wide range of organic reactions. This enables rapid process optimization and effective resolution of technical challenges.

Commercial-Scale Manufacturing

Launched a large-scale production line in 2024, increasing capacity by 1.5 times compared to previous levels. We established a lean and highly efficient production system through reduction of defect rates and continuous throughput improvement. Flexible manufacturing campaigns aligned with demand deliver the right quantities at the optimal timing.

  Confidentiality Agreement and Information Disclosure

  Before moving forward with detailed discussions, we first execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), after which you can provide us with more detailed information.

• Step3

  Desk Study and Preliminary Cost Estimation

  We provide rapid assessments of feasibility along with preliminary cost estimates.
  Based on the information provided by our customers, we conduct desk-based preliminary evaluations of synthetic routes, identify potential technical challenges, and estimate manufacturing costs and lead times—delivering prompt and actionable insights.

  Laboratory Study

  We design optimal synthetic routes and verify feasibility at the laboratory scale.
  From early stages where only the target compound is defined, we support the development of new synthetic routes with commercial production in mind. Based on the designed route, we conduct laboratory experiments and identify key challenges to rapidly assess feasibility.

  Process and Scale-Up Study

  From lab to plant scale—achieving safe, seamless technology transfer.
  We conduct thorough evaluations to ensure a smooth transition from lab-scale processes to commercial production, while strategically collecting the data needed to establish robust and safe manufacturing processes.

  Pilot Manufacturing

  We build robust process and quality foundations ahead of commercial-scale production.
  By utilizing a wide range of reaction equipment from 100 L to 15,000 L scale, we conduct pilot production to develop and validate both process technology and product quality before full-scale manufacturing. Key control points in process and quality are defined to enable a seamless transition to commercial production.

  Production Validation and Scale-Up Review

  We conduct final validation and condition optimization in preparation for commercial production.
  Based on pilot production results, we verify the suitability of commercial production equipment and finalize manufacturing conditions.

• Step8

  Contract Finalization and Order Placement

  We finalize the agreement and proceed to manufacturing.
  The contract is executed upon mutual agreement on production conditions, quality specifications, delivery timelines, and pricing. Commercial production commences upon receipt of your order.

• Step9

  Commercial Production

  We mass-produce high-quality products through rigorous quality control.
  We move into commercial-scale production based on established processes, delivering the required quantities at the right time to our customers.
