We introduce the manufacturing facilities of AGC Wakasa Chemical, which is responsible for producing chemicals, electronic materials, agrochemical active ingredients, and intermediates within AGC Fine Chemicals.
Manufacturing Equipment
We operate a wide range of reactors, from small-scale 100 L units to large-scale 15,000 L vessels. Our equipment includes glass-lined (GL), stainless steel (SUS), and Hastelloy, allowing us to propose the optimal setup tailored to each customer's product specifications. Temperature control ranges from ultra-low (−40 °C) to high temperatures (250 °C), and reactions under high-pressure conditions are also supported. Powerful agitation enables the handling of highly viscous and adhesive substances. We are also equipped with a comprehensive range of separation and drying equipment, including centrifuges, filtration systems, and various drying systems such as vacuum dryers, freeze dryers, and spray dryers, supporting the production of high-quality products.

In addition to a stable supply system capable of supporting scales ranging from 100 L to 15,000 L, our strength lies in our advanced equipment capabilities that can accommodate specialized manufacturing conditions. For projects that are difficult to manufacture using conventional equipment—such as those involving highly corrosive raw materials or products requiring extremely high purity—the plant supports commercialization by utilizing specialized equipment such as Hastelloy reactors, multi-stage distillation columns, and thin-film evaporators.
